Dr. Talish Aghababayan

Dr. Aghababayan will be leaving our practice effective May 22, 2025, due to changes within her family. We will miss her greatly and wish her all the best.


Your eye care remains our top priority, and we want to assure you that all patient records will continue to be securely maintained by our practice. Should you need care or have upcoming appointments, we encourage you to schedule with one of our remaining doctors:



  • Dr. Mills for contact lens fittings and medical or comprehensive exams in our Central Street (Norwood) office and West Roxbury office
  • Dr. Kefella for medical or comprehensive exams in our Norwood office 

Dr. Talish Aghababayan is a graduate of University of California, Irvine where she received her Bachelor of Sciences degree in Biological Sciences. She then received her doctorate in Optometry degree from The New England College of Optometry in 2017 where she finished with clinical honors.


Dr. Aghababayan has a history of training in primary eye care, geriatric, contact lens, and low vision clinics. Her internships include the VA Hospital in Newington, CT, South End Community Health Center, Dorchester Community Health Center and New England Eye Care. Besides primary eye care, Dr. Aghababayan has special interests and training in low vision. In 2018, she received the Jane Falk Award for Distinguished Volunteer Service from the Massachusetts Association for the Blind & Visually Impaired (MABVI). 


Dr. Aghababayan is licensed in Massachusetts and is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as Massachusetts Society of Optometrists. She is also an active member of the Massachusetts Association for the Blind & Visually Impaired (MABVI) and is currently working with the Armenian EyeCare Project (AECP) to expand low vision rehabilitation services to Armenia.


Dr. Aghababayan is accepting new patients and is devoted to providing best eye care to her patients.
