Dr. George Frangieh is a highly accomplished physician with extensive training and experience in ophthalmology and related specialties. He graduated from the American University of Beirut School of Medicine on June 30, 1978, where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree. Following his graduation, Dr. Frangieh completed advanced medical training at several prestigious institutions in the United States. He undertook a residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, followed by specialized training at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. He then further refined his expertise at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Frangieh is fluent in Arabic and French. His multicultural background and linguistic skills allow him to provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population. With a strong commitment to medical excellence, patient-centered care, and ongoing professional development, Dr. Frangieh continues to uphold the highest standards in his field.
Dr. Huan Mills earned her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 2016. She completed an Internal Medicine internship at the University of Maryland Mercy Medical Center (2016–2017), followed by a residency in Ophthalmology at Tufts Medical Center (2017–2020). She is fluent in Mandarin.
Dr. Haben Kefella earned her medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine in 2014. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Boston Medical Center (2014–2015), followed by a residency in Ophthalmology at the same institution (2015–2017). Dr. Kefella then continued her advanced ophthalmology training as a Fellow at Boston University Medical Center Hospital from 2018 to 2019.
Dr. Mehdi Najafi earned his medical degree from the Tehran University Faculty of Medicine in 2006. He completed a Transitional Internship at Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center (2013–2014) and a Residency in Ophthalmology at SUNY Upstate Medical University (2014–2017). Dr. Najafi then pursued advanced subspecialty training as a Retina Fellow at the University of Minnesota. He speaks Spanish and Persian.
