Dr. Bruce Micley has over 40 years of experience providing comprehensive eye care to patients throughout the Greater Boston area. Since 2008, he has practiced at Eye Care Specialists, P.C., where he provides comprehensive eye examinations and contact lens fittings. 

Dr. Micley founded and directed Longwood Eye Care from 1989 to 2007, an independent practice serving Boston’s Longwood Medical Area. Earlier in his career, he served as a staff optometrist at Ophthalmic Physicians in Stoughton and at South Boston Eye Associates.

He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in 1982, following a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University in 1977. His clinical training included the South End Community Health Center in Boston, the Albert Sloane Eye Clinic at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, and the Boston Eye Clinic.

Throughout his career, Dr. Micley has remained committed to providing personalized, high-quality eye care with a strong emphasis on preventive vision health and patient education.
